Now imagine the quiet moving into your mind. Now be still. Be perfectly still. Quiet and still. Breathe through your mouth and yawn. Still. Still in your emotions. Nothing moving. You are breathing, quietly and your body is still. Perfectly still. It feels good and your muscles relax. You become aware of some tension that had been building in your mind and emotions and your back and neck. It releases and you exhale. Move your neck around. Feel the stillness reaching into you. Be still in your will. Quiet and still.
Now, imagine driving to work, quiet and still. Arriving, greeting, working talking and yet quiet and still in your mind. Quiet and still in your feelings. Quiet and still in your will. There is an incident, but you stay quiet and still. Quiet and still in your mind, in your feelings, in your will. The clarity increases by which you see the incident surprises you. You know what is going on. Not sure how you know, but you know. And later they find out that you were right.
Now you go home. The family surrounds you and you can hear them. You know them and they can feel you knowing them. You are touching their being because you are quiet.
You are becoming aware of the noise that haunts your soul. Your mind and feelings have echoes that provide noise. Noise that keeps you from thinking you can be quiet and still. Keeps you from being able to hear the truth and see the lies.
As you lay down to sleep, you are quiet and still. Sleep gently comes to you and the quiet brings you a great night’s sleep. Quiet and still greets you in the morning and you are ready for the day. There is no noise in your soul.
